EXCITING NEWS!!!!! The Indian River Golf Club is offering sanctioned Duplicate Bridge through the American Contract Bridge League (ACBL). Participants in these sanctioned bridge games will earn master points that can lead to the coveted "Life Master" status.
There are two Duplicate Bridge sessions offered each week. The first will be Tuesday evenings with an optional buffet dinner starting at 5:00 p.m. and bridge from 6:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. The second session will be Friday mornings beginning at 10:00 a.m. An optional "Tips and Strategies" lesson will be offered before the Friday sessions at 9:00 a.m. free of charge for members of the Bridge Club.
There is a "Seasonal Bridge" membership available for those who are interested. The membership would be valid for 3 months - June 1 to September 1 2010 - at a cost of $99.00. In addition there would be per session fees of $3.00 for current members of the golf club (social or certificate) and $7.00 for "seasonal bridge" members.
Beginning April 27th, 2010 - weekly scores for the Tuesday Evening and Friday morning games will be posted here after each match.
