| While the Detroit Free Press calls it "The best kept secret in the North," the Indian River Golf Club is becoming less and less of a secret. As Northern Michigan golf continues to grow, more and more people are recognizing the total golf experience that the Indian River Golf Club has to offer. Our 18-hole championship golf course is rated 3 1/2 stars by Golf Digest as one of Northern Michigans best places to play. It measures 6,700 yards from the back tees and has a slope rating of 125. There are four different teeing areas for golfers of all calibers. Many of the golfers tell our staff that they enjoy the golf course and the facility much more than many of the big resorts in the area. We believe strongly that this is because they are receiving the same amenities that a resort offers, but at half the price.
The Indian River Golf Club is very convenient for golfers from all areas to get to. It’s only 2 minutes off I-75 and 25 minutes from Mackinaw City, Petoskey, and Gaylord. We offer Canadian money at par before Memorial Day & After Labor Day and twi-light begins at 1pm daily.
