the Detroit Free Press calls it "The best kept secret in the
North," the Indian River Golf Club is becoming less and less of a secret.
As Up North golf continues to grow, more and more people are recognizing
the total golf experience that the Indian River Golf Club has to offer.
We have a beautiful 18-hole championship golf course, carved out of virgin
pine, that is always in immaculate condition. It measures 6,700 yards from
the back tees and has a slope rating of 125. There are four different teeing
areas for golfers of all calibers. Many of the golfers tell our staff that
they enjoy the golf course and the facility much more than many of the big
resorts inthe Northern Michigan area. We believe a lot of that is because
they are receiving the same amenities that a resort offers, but at half
the price.The Indian River Golf Club is very convenient for golfers from all areas to get to. It’s only 2 minutes off I-75 and 25 minutes from Mackinaw City, Petoskey, and Gaylord. We offer Canadian at par before Memorial Day & After Labor Day and twi-light begins at 1pm and super twi-light at 4pm. This 3 ½ star rated golf course is truly a gem, and we hope you, the golfer, will stop in and enjoy the experience the Indian River Golf Club has to offer. |
